Lace Wedding Fans

If you were asked to close your eyes for just a moment and get a mental picture of a bride you would probably envision a lovely girl dressed in white silk and lace.  Lace is probably the number one fabric you would find suitable for a wedding.  Veils are lace, the bridal train is often lace, the bridal garter the groom throws is at least partially lace and of course most bridal bouquets have some amount of lace and ribbon adornments.  If a bride is to carry a fan, a lace wedding fan would be, by far, the most exquisite.

Think, for a moment, of all you can do with lace!  You could use the same lace that the bridal fan is fashioned with and adorn the bridal dress itself or the veil with the same or complimentary lace.  Bridesmaids and the Maid of Honor would also wear gowns embellished in lace. You can use lace wedding fans as table favors.  Lace could be used to wrap little bundles of almonds or mints and you can even use the same lace on floral arrangements or centerpieces.

Lace wedding fans are indeed the most traditional but perhaps that is because they are the loveliest.  Every bride wants to have a fairy tale wedding and nothing adds to the glamour quite as much as a delicate lace fan.  When you offer guests smaller replicas of the bride’s fan, those lace wedding fans will hold a place of prominence in the memories and hearts of all.
